Dr. Eric Weimer received his PhD from the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He is the Past President of AMLI and an ASHI Board Member. His research focuses the development of molecular and analytic tools to improve patient diagnostics.
