Jacqueline Williams obtained her Bachelor's degree in Human Biology & Society from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). She obtained a Master's degree in Human Genetics & Genomic Data Analytics from Keck Graduate Institute in 2021. Her Master's thesis work focused on the development of a predictive base editing pipeline for rare retinal dystrophies in collaboration with Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). She is now a PhD Candidate in the Biological and Medical Informatics program at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), under the mentorship of Dr. Jill Hollenbach PhD, MPH. Her thesis work focuses on characterizing genetic variation of natural killer cell receptors in the context of multiple sclerosis, a complex autoimmune disorder.
