Kristen Wade obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Bioinformatics at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014. She completed her doctoral thesis work in the laboratory of Dr. David Pollock at University of Colorado-Anschutz in 2022. Her thesis work focused on understanding and modelling the evolution of the non-coding genome. In 2022, she began her postdoctoral work with Dr. Jill Hollenbach at University of California, San Francisco. Here, she is investigating the genetic architecture of multiple sclerosis across the major histocompatibility (MHC) region.
