Thermo Fisher
Tri is a molecular biologist who has led teams in both academic and industrial settings on projects utilizing biochemical, genetic engineering, transcriptomic, and proteomic methods to provide original insights into human diseases and translate them into new diagnostic products. He is currently a Staff Scientist in the Transplant Diagnostic Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific. There, his team developed the MagSort product line for donor-specific antibodies research. He earned his PhD at Caltech, where he linked a protein degradation pathway to the control of transcription factors that regulate immunity in mice and humans. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and finding similes to explain natural phenomena to his five- and three-year-old children.
