Megan is currently serving as a lead clinical laboratory scientist at Stanford Blood Center supporting a large transplant program across both solid organ and bone marrow programs. As the lead software validation specialist, she has worked with software program teams to customize automation of laboratory processes to fit the needs of the clinicians to provided customized care. Most recently she has worked on a virtual crossmatch software to bring virtual crossmatching to the level of resolution currently utilized by the Stanford team. Megan is passionate about bringing software solutions to common laboratory tasks to reduce the chance of manual errors and improve efficiency.
